Vegetable juices
Kadarbiku is the only company in Estonia that manufactures natural vegetable juices in Estonia.
We make organic, 100% natural vegetable juices and we mainly use the vegetables we grow in our own fields. We use the cold-pressing method and pasteurisation at low temperatures in our juice production. This guarantees that all vitamins and useful nutrients are preserved in the juice. We do not use any additives or preservatives in our juices – everything that is in our juices has been put there by nature. Our vegetable juices are pressed from washed and peeled vegetables using a specially developed technology which ensures that as many useful ingredients as possible stay in the juice and any waste is removed. After that, the juices are pasteurised, cooled and bottled.
Why is vegetable juice good for you?
Digesting solid food takes a lot of time and energy whilst juices are much easier for the body to process. Vegetables are also rich in fibres that are not broken down by digestive juices. All good substances go into the juice in the course of pressing; any possible chemical toxins stay in the fibres or the pressing residue.
Nutritionists have claimed that we should eat 1 kg of fresh vegetables per 50 kg of body weight every day. Chewing raw carrots, cabbages or swedes makes it hard to achieve, but drinking juices made from them makes consuming the required quantity considerably easier.
Vegetables juices can also be used in cooking – for example, carrot juice can be used for making soup instead of water, it can also be added to sauces, used to cook rice and make jellies. Pancakes and yeast dough pastries look deliciously golden if half of the required milk is replaced with carrot juice. Beetroot juice is ideal red food colorant and a good additive for soups and desserts.
